On a walk in our neighborhood I pointed out some iris blooming. "See! That's an iris, that's what Beverly's new baby sister is named after." -(That was me) Pen (angrily): " Why would anybody give their baby the name of a flower! That's just silly!" "Um, Pen... Your sister's name is Violet...and what is a violet?" -(Me)
