We had a lovely New Year's Eve this year. We made pizza and milkshakes and had fireworks in the backyard. Then we came in for an early midnight. We counted down at about 9:30 and had some confetti and loud merriment. It was so much fun for Penelope, and the rest of us too.
The next day we headed to Aunt Linda's for some fun with family. We finally got to meet Aunt Linda's sweet puppy, Ebony. We had a great time.
There is a lot to look forward to this year. Violet will have so many firsts. First steps, first words, first tooth. Penelope too will have many new and exciting adventures as she moves steadily from toddler to big kid. And Steve and I get to enjoy it all as we continue on this wild and crazy parenting ride we've signed up for. It's often fun, always interesting, frequently terrorizing, but never boring.
