I've made this hat for two new babies we have welcomed recently. One a cousin and one a friend. Both beautiful girls. And each time Violet asked me if the hat I was knitting was for her. So I decided to make her one. If it looks like she is eating in all of these pictures, she is. She is sitting in a patch of violets, and eating them. She calls it her wild salad.
