We had such a nice visit from Rosie and Melissa last week. We went for some nice walks, had some nice dinners, and spent a day in Boston. Melissa taught Penelope how to play hide and seek, which was funny. They explored Blithewold by themselves (while Rosie and I were not too far off), tried to play go fish, and watched some wonderful Beatrix Potter movies. Penelope has talked of nothing but Melissa since they left, she adores her - as do I!
The bad news, of course, is that they had to leave. The good news is that they are not TOO far away, and we love to visit in their neck of the woods... so maybe in the spring we'll visit them. We are so glad they came and stayed with us for a few happy days, and I was also happy for my girls to get to know this cousin and this auntie that I love so much.
