Rainy days mean two little girls dressed in brightly colored raincoats and rubber boots. Splashing in big puddles (or pah-doos, as Vi calls them), and rescuing worms from the pah-doos before they drown. It means going to the playground anyway and having it all to yourself. It means dancing in the rain and feeling it fall on your upturned face, laughing and rejoicing in the magic and beauty of this earth we live on. I love that we celebrate rain, I love that the girls teach me how to celebrate it over and over again.
