Kettle ponds and sandy beaches. Food cooked on the grill. A beach fire where the girls finally got their first taste of toasted marshmallows (I found some vegan marshmallows!) and tiny jelly fish. Fireflies and honeysuckle and a big beautiful strawberry super moon over the wild ocean. Darling little towns with adorable cottage gardens and flower boxes, and even a wee fairy door at the bottom of a tree to be discovered by two little girls with huge blue eyes. Our week on Cape Cod.
