Finally, after years of trying, we got to the cherries on our cherry tree before the birds did. We were so excited! After a quick rinsing of them, the girls got down to the serious business of eating the messy, juicy, sweet, tart, and beautiful things. I may never get the stains out of their dresses, but I think it may have been worth it. Sweet, sticky heaven.
